Vacation Bible School                  Ocean Commotion

Informational Meeting Sunday, April 17, following the morning worship in the Youth DOCK to give you information, find a good fit for you to serve with this ministry, and answer any questions you might have. We are excited that summer is getting closer and that means VBS 2016 is almost here! The dates for VBS this year are Monday June 20th-Friday June 24th 6:30-8:30pm each day. For any more information please talk to VBS Director Lindsay Shank or Pastor of Students and Families Tim Franks.

Builders For Christ Planning and Information Meeting

If you are interested in being a part of this year’s summer missions/construction team to Layton Avenue Baptist Church in Greenfield, Wisconsin then please join us for our information/planning meeting on Sunday, April 17th at 4:45pm in the music suite.  Please contact Pastor Grant Stanley if you have any questions about this mission trip opportunity.

Partners In Missions Meeting

The Partners In Missions team will meet on  Monday, April 18 at 7:00 pm in the Green Room.

Prime Timers

Thursday, April 21 at 12 noon. Please bring meats, vegetables, casseroles, and desserts. Senior Adult Council meets at 4:45 p.m. Sunday, April 17 in the Green Room.

Forest Hills is forming a New Medical Team as part of our first impressions ministries. Please sign up at the Welcome center  if you are interested in joining! There will be a short kickoff meeting Sunday, May 1st after the morning worship in the Green room.

Called Church Conference                                    Sunday, May 1, For: Deacon Nominations

At the morning worship service on Sunday, May 1, each member present will receive a nomination form for the purpose of nominating up to eight (8) men to serve as deacons. Members may also nominate candidates in the church office during regular business hours from April 18 - 29. Deacons will be affirmed in July and begin serving three year terms in September. The qualifications for a deacon are: 1) Must be at least 21 years old, 2) a member of the church for a at least one year, 3) have sufficient adult experience that assures ability to minister to a cross-section of church members, 4) a supportive member of the church who regularly attends & participates in church services & programs, and 5) meet Biblical qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:8-13 & Acts 6:3. Deacons currently serving or rotating off cannot be nominated for election this year. Please be in prayer for God’s Leadership in choosing whom He would have serve.

Those who need Jesus, Our city, Our Country, Our World, Dot Beaman, Mark Brown, Sheila Flowers, Shirley Galloway, Scott Hayes & Family, Elaine Hill, Juanita Hubbard, Linda Lamm, Marvin Matthews, Karen McCallaster, Ray Stancil,  and The Midkiff Family (Charles & Sandy Adkins daughter & family) in Ukraine and Ukraine, and those who have lost loved ones.
